Un dialogue multidisciplinaire entre<\/strong> un peintre Fran\u00e7ais Alain Churlaud<\/strong> et un musicien V\u00e9nicien Enrico<\/strong> Coniglio.<\/strong>
Ce projet m\u00e9lange l\u2019art visuel et la<\/strong> musique ambiante afin d\u2019explorer<\/strong> deux espaces profond\u00e9ment<\/strong> distincts : les montagnes et Venise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e9e d\u2019une passion commune de la nature et des sons, l\u2019exposition reconstruit ces environnements \u00e0 travers une abstraction plut\u00f4t qu\u2019une repr\u00e9sentation figurative.
12 peintures d\u2019Alain – 6 d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux montagnes et 6 \u00e0 Venise – sont cr\u00e9\u00e9es avec du sable et la sciure de bois. Une palette de couleurs limit\u00e9e est utilis\u00e9e afin d\u2019\u00e9voquer un sentiment, une humeur plut\u00f4t qu\u2019un r\u00e9alisme. Les compositions d\u2019Enrico, con\u00e7ues \u00e0 partir de field recordings et sons synth\u00e9tis\u00e9s, font un miroir de l\u2019approche d\u2019Alain. Elles n\u2019offrent pas une carte postale sonore de chaque peinture, en revanche elles donnent une r\u00e9-interpr\u00e9tation immersive des lieux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019exposition se d\u00e9roule comme un voyage qui d\u00e9bute dans les glaciers des Alpes et descend \u00e0 Venise jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la nuit. Les peintures sont dispos\u00e9es sur des murs oppos\u00e9s, permettant aux visiteurs de passer d\u2019un espace \u00e0 l\u2019autre guid\u00e9s par une musique ambiante qui boucle de fa\u00e7on transparente de l\u2019un \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Une installation vid\u00e9o documentaire pr\u00e9sente le processus de cr\u00e9ation pour enrichir l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du visiteur.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alain Churlaud<\/strong> est un peintre Fran\u00e7ais dont le travail tourne autour des th\u00e8mes de l\u2019eau, les montagnes, la campagne et des concepts. Son approche est de ressentir les choses avant de faire une peinture. En d\u2019autres mots, il y a tout d\u2019abord un \u00e9tonnement de la simplicit\u00e9 environnante, une \u00e9motion qui est re\u00e7ue. Une histoire qui se construit. Un choc de couleurs, un jeu de lignes, une structure qui l\u2019interpelle puis se construit, se conceptualise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peindre est une libert\u00e9 pour lui, \u00e0 partir d\u2019une id\u00e9e, Alain fait un travail de d\u00e9construction-reconstruction. La reconstruction peut partir autant vers une simplification et une \u00e9puration que vers une complexification et une surcharge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il s\u2019autorise \u00e0 travailler de fa\u00e7on abstraite, minimaliste, art brut ou figurative. Inspir\u00e9 de la nature, Alain utilise des techniques distinctives comme l’emploi de la spatule, du pinceau, du rouleau, de sable et de la sciure de bois pour cr\u00e9er une texture naturelle unique et des formes sp\u00e9cifiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour donner plus de force \u00e0 sa peinture, il utilise uniquement des pigments pour cr\u00e9er ses couleurs. Le rouge orange cadmium est un incontournable que l\u2019on retrouve dans la plupart de ses productions. Le liant peut \u00eatre mat, satin ou brillant en fonction de son inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enrico Coniglio<\/strong> est un musicien V\u00e9nitien et un artiste du son dont le travail explore les repr\u00e9sentations des espaces urbains et la transformation des paysages contemporains. Avec une formation aux sciences de l’environnement, il se focalise sur l’esth\u00e9tique des paysages, particuli\u00e8rement le lagon V\u00e9nitien, explorant le sens de la perte et de l \u2019incertain associ\u00e9s \u00e0 ces environnements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sa pratique artistique englobe diff\u00e9rents genres, incluant l\u2019ambiant, soundscape et drone music. Enrico utilise le field recording, la guitare et diff\u00e9rents instruments pour cr\u00e9er un espace musical immersif qui refl\u00e8te la relation intime entre le son et le lieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A multidisciplinary dialogue<\/strong> between French painter Alain<\/strong> Churlaud and Venetian musician<\/strong> Enrico Coniglio. This project blends<\/strong> visual art and ambient music to<\/strong> explore two deeply personal<\/strong> landscapes: the mountains and<\/strong> Venice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born from a shared passion for nature and sound, the exhibition reconstructs these environments through abstraction rather than direct representation. Alain\u2019s 12 paintings\u2014six dedicated to the mountains and six to Venice\u2014are created with sand and sawdust, using a limited color palette to evoke mood rather than realism. Enrico\u2019s compositions, crafted from field recordings and synthesized sounds, mirror this approach, offering not a literal sonic postcard, but an immersive reinterpretation of place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition unfolds as a journey, beginning in the glaciers of the Alps and descending to Venice until night. The artworks are arranged across opposing walls, allowing visitors to transition between the two landscapes, guided by ambient music that loops seamlessly through the space. Alain Churlaud<\/strong> is a French painter whose work juggles with the themes of water, mountains, countryside and concepts. His approach is to get into the feeling of the things before the making of a painting. In other words; first of all, there is astonishment at the surrounding simplicity, an emotion that is received. A story that is being built. A clash of colors, a play of lines, a structure that challenges him then builds, conceptualizes itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Painting is freedom for him, starting from an idea, Alain does deconstruction- reconstruction work. Reconstruction can move as much towards simplification and purification as towards complexity and overload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He let himself work in abstract, minimalism, outsider art or figurative manner. Inspired by nature, Alain uses distinctive techniques such as the use of spatula, brush, roller, sand and sawdust to create a unique natural texture and specific shapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To give more strength to his painting, he only uses pigments to create his colors. Cadmium Orange Red is a must-have that you can find in most of his work. The binder can be matte, satin or glossy according to his inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un dialogo multidisciplinare tra il<\/strong> pittore Alain Churlaud e il musicista<\/strong> veneziano Enrico Coniglio. Il<\/strong> progetto fonde arte visiva e musica<\/strong> per esplorare due paesaggi<\/strong> profondamente personali: le<\/strong> montagne e Venezia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nata da una passione condivisa per la natura e il suono, la mostra tenta di ricostruire questi ambientazioni secondo una propria personale rappresentazione della realt\u00e0, rifuggendo stereotipie e luoghi comuni. Le 12 opere pittoriche – sei dedicate alla montagna e sei a Venezia – sono state realizzate con materiali testurizzati come sabbia e segatura, utilizzando una palette cromatica limitata per evocare un\u2019atmosfera piuttosto che un realismo. Le composizioni di Enrico Coniglio, create a partire da registrazioni ambientali e suoni sintetizzati, seguono lo stesso approccio, offrendo non una \u201ccartolina sonora\u201d, ma una reinterpretazione immersiva del paesaggio acustico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La mostra si sviluppa come un viaggio, iniziando dai ghiacciai delle Alpi per poi scendere fino alla citt\u00e0 lagunare. Heavy heat
No water in here, only walls and paving stones
Sounds may come from the houses or the wind across the windows and through the alley<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A peculiarity of Venice is that when you walk there, there is always a small bridge to cross at the end of each small alley. The bridge is very often after a few steps to cross. We do not always know what is beyond the bridge, it is usually hidden by a house.

Some streets are lit only by a few streetlights.
You can see the outline of the road, maybe not much more.
Black in satin and brilliant is used to give the shapes of the street. It appears as a frame in the frame
Since we can’t see everything, we have to imagine even more of what’s happening..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can hear life
You can hear water and wind
But you don\u2019t see much<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No stories to tell about the painting
But it was the first time I painted on Enrico’s production
Using Cadmium Red, Helios Red, Satin Black and Brilliant Black<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The darkness, you can\u2019t really know where you are
Ahead maybe a shore, not sure 
The water hit something, the stilts ?
Surely a boat to the sea
Where is it going ? 
A secret place in Venice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
